Empowering the builders of tomorrow’s Engineering in India with OPmobility

On July 9th, Neural Concept partnered with OPmobility to host an exchange forum and hands-on bootcamp in Pune, India, one of the world’s most vibrant hubs of automotive and engineering talent. The event focused on workforce empowerment, bringing together engineers, technical leaders, and innovators to explore how AI can be practically applied in product development.

The goal was twofold.

First, equipping engineering managers and engineers with insights and a deeper understanding of AI use cases and common success patterns. Second, identifying and training the growing base of AI builders, AI development engineers and AI users among OPmobility’s Indian engineering workforce.

This bootcamp brought together cross-functional teams to tackle real-world AI challenges, guided by expert facilitators. By focusing on practical implementation, it helps participants turn AI ambition into measurable impact.

Why Pune, and Why Now?

India is already home to some of the most dynamic engineering talent in the world, and Pune stands at the heart of that ecosystem. By hosting the event locally, Neural Concept reaffirmed its commitment to empowering India’s engineering workforce with the skills, tools, and strategies needed to lead tomorrow’s innovation.

This wasn’t just a knowledge-sharing exercise; it was a clear signal that the future of product engineering will be global, data-driven, and powered by AI. For Neural Concept, it was also a moment to deepen its partnership with OPmobility, whose visionary leadership continues to position them at the forefront of digital transformation in automotive.

Vision from the Top: A CEO Keynote That Set the Tone

A major highlight of the day was a keynote from Bhuwan Lodha, CEO of the AI Division at Mahindra Group. His presentation on "Deploying AI at Scale: Insights, Challenges, and Perspectives” provided a valuable window into how one of India’s industrial giants is embedding AI across the value chain - from design and development to customer experience.

Bhuwan’s insights were complemented by another industry heavyweight: Virendra Chaudhari, Director and Industry Advisor at Microsoft, who spoke about the evolving role of AI and GenAI in the global automotive sector. Their presence at the event underscored the growing momentum, and urgency, around adopting AI at scale. It provided a motivating message for all participants in their journey to build-up their AI expertise.

Avoiding Pitfalls, Accelerating Progress: Neural Concept’s Vision

The closing session, led by Thanos Margaritis, Sales Director at Neural Concept, offered a practical perspective on how large enterprises can make AI adoption in Engineering both realistic and sustainable.

Engineering Intelligence is already transforming product development, but it’s not a one-size-fits-all solution that can be created in isolation.” said Thanos. “Companies need to empower their own team and transform processes to develop tailored workflows to successfully deliver value and differentiate from competition across teams and geographies.”

He described how Neural Concept acts as a complete AI toolbox that helps engineers reforge design processes, and collapse product development cycles.

A key part of his message focused on workforce development: upskilling engineers and empowering the next generation of Engineering AI users and builders.

Through events like this one, and through hands-on programs like our Bootcamps, we’re not just delivering technology. We’re shaping the future of engineering talent in India and globally, one empowered engineer at a time.”

Upskilling Engineers, Unleashing Innovation

The forum reinforced a shared observation among attendees: that India is not only a rising technology power but a critical force in shaping the global future of AI-enabled engineering. To realize that potential, however, companies must invest in both people and platforms.

Neural Concept’s continued presence in India, and its collaboration with leaders like OPmobility, demonstrate what’s possible when cutting-edge AI meets visionary leadership and a future-ready workforce.
