As a Machine Learning Research Intern at Neural Concept, your mission will be to develop and implement innovative methods for analyzing and understanding engineering data and 3D designs.
What you will do
You will work on practical, impactful projects from ideation through integration into Neural Concept's product, relying on deep learning and machine learning techniques alongside your own expertise and intuition. While working towards this goal:
- You will tackle real-world problems across multiple industries, working with diverse and unique 3D design and simulation data from our customers and partners.
- You will contribute to the development of our product, seeing the direct impact of your work on our customers.
- You will be part of a highly dynamic, results-driven team that supports you and helps you achieve success.
- You will stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning, finding innovative ways to apply cutting-edge methods and other effective techniques to our challenges.
Who you are
- You just completed (or are in the process of completing) a Master or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics or other relevant field.
- You have a deep understanding of machine learning and deep learning, and some relevant research or industry experience in these domains
- You have strong experience with Python programming and ML frameworks such as Tensorflow or PyTorch.
- You have a good physical intuition and understanding of physics.
- You are motivated, detail-oriented, enjoy solving difficult problems and willing to engage in unknown territory.
- You are pragmatic and result-driven, applying the most efficient and appropriate solution to a problem.
- You like to work in a team and want to make a difference in the real world.

Our hiring process consists of the following phases:
Application
We will review your application and get back to you as soon as possible.
Culture interview
In this 30-45 online minutes interview, we will get to know you, understand what is important for you and introduce the company.
Technical interviews
This stage consists of several interviews. Depending on the position, it will include a code challenge, a home project and/or an online technical interview.
Assessment day
It is important for us to meet you in person. The final phase is the assessment day which is on-premises and lasts around 3 hours. You will meet your future colleagues, have a technical and people discussion.
