As a key player in the team building the NCS platform, your mission will be to enable end-to-end integration of our application workflows into state-of-the-art product development toolchains. We will value creativity and innovation as you bridge the gap between deep-learning, cloud and CAE tools.
While working towards this goal:
- You will interact closely with customers and product specialists in order to identify the typical CAE ecosystems and toolchains our platform needs to integrate into.
- Based on this understanding, you will implement end-to-end development toolchains combining the power of NCS’ deep-learning technology with modern commercial CAE and CAD tools that can serve as templates for our customers.
- You will advertise these end-to-end workflow, both internally and externally, through webinar, blog posts, and detailed technical documentation.
- You will support our application and research teams with access to curated CAE tools that can help them solve specific challenges in their respective projects.
- You will work closely with our infrastructure team in order to ensure we have a robust design and CAE environment, that is well integrated with NCS, modular enough to adapt to different types of projects, and scalable based on our needs at a certain point in time.
- You will have the opportunity to express your creativity and technical expertise, as well as to learn and test new technologies to keep our workflows truly cutting-edge.
Who you are
- You are passionate about how modern digital and AI technologies will change (and are already changing) engineering, and eager to participate in this transformation!
- You hold a Master’s or PhD in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, fluid mechanics or other relevant field.
- You have extensive experience with leading CAD and simulation software, in particular with Ansys and/or Siemens products.
- You have proven experience with process automation in the context of product development, and are able to script CAD and CAE softwares in order to create end-to-end toolchains.
- You are comfortable writing Python scripts and applications.
- Specific CFD experience is a plus.
- You are motivated, detail-oriented, enjoy solving difficult problems and willing to engage in unknown territory.
